A radio journalist, Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thus creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Jean Foyer was a French jurist and politician. Minister of Justice from 1962 to 1967, he participated in the major reforms of civil law under the Fifth Republic. He served as a deputy for Mayenne and was a member of the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences.
