EGYPT - Lot 468
EGYPT Mummy-shaped ushabti, probably New Kingdom, 18th or 19th Dynasty (based on style) Terracotta—20 cm No traces of pigment remain, but it is likely that certain details were originally highlighted with paint. The body is depicted in mummy form, with the arms crossed over the chest. The head is covered with a long, striped, three-part wig, the front sections of which extend far down onto the chest. Provenance: Former collection of Maurice NICAUD, Paris (Estate)
