ABOUT OUR AUCTIONEER
After obtaining a master's degree in Art Market Law and Taxation and a degree in Art History specializing in Modern Times (Ecole du Louvres), Marie RENOIR discovered the world of auctions within of the ARTCURIAL House, notably in the Old Masters and 19th Century and Hermès Vintage departments. Two years of apprenticeship alongside Maître Olivier PERRIN, Maître Philippe ROYERE and Maître Antoine LAJEUNESSE in Versailles, allowed him to acquire an excellent sense of expertise in the classic fields of furniture, sculptures, works of art and jewelry as well as learn about abstract and contemporary art.
Seduced by post-war French painting, Marie RENOIR practiced her profession for five years with talent and passion alongside an essential duo on the market: Olivier PERRIN & Gilles FRASSI. Under her hammer some French artists reached world records like Ladislas KIJNO or Jean LE MOAL.
Face of the profession in 2022, Marie RENOIR will be chosen to represent her peers during the famous Hammer Days.
Marie RENOIR joins the TVshow AFFAIRE CONCLUE just one year after its creation in 2018, spotted by the casting teams. Every afternoon on FRANCE 2, our auctioneer entertains you and accompanies Julia VIGNALI in the valuation and appraisal of paintings, drawings, sculptures, jewelry and works of art to enlighten you on the history and value of your property.
