Radio journalist Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thereby creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Jean Chalon was a French journalist and writer. He is best known for his biographies of famous women (e.g., *Chère Marie-Antoinette*, *Chère George Sand*) and worked for many years at *Le Figaro Littéraire*. Very good condition; edges of the page are slightly damaged and yellowed.
