A radio journalist, Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the celebrities he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thus creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Jean Constantin was a French singer-songwriter and jazz pianist. He wrote several French chanson standards, including “Mon manège à moi” for Édith Piaf and “Mon truc en plumes” for Zizi Jeanmaire, as well as numerous film scores.
