Radio journalist Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thereby creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Jean Daniélou was a French cardinal, a member of the Society of Jesus, a theologian, and a church historian. He was created a cardinal in 1969, was a member of the Académie française, and played a significant role in the revival of Christian patristics.
