PROVENANCE: This drawing comes from the personal collection of Pierre Lhoste. A radio journalist, Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thus creating a unique record of his interviews.
INFORMATION: Albert Delaunay was a French biologist and immunologist. He was a professor at the Pasteur Institute and the École Normale Supérieure in Fontenay-aux-Roses. He headed the Department of Experimental Pathology at the Pasteur Institute from 1939 to 1974 and published numerous popular science and research works.
Very good condition; page edges slightly damaged and yellowed
