A radio journalist, Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thereby creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Michel Random was a French writer, photographer, filmmaker, and art critic. He was one of the first to promote spiritual artistic movements and Eastern philosophy in France, notably through his books and documentaries on Zen and creativity.
