A radio journalist, Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thus creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Pierre-Christian Taittinger was a French politician and diplomat from the famous family of champagne producers. A senator representing Paris for several decades, he also served as mayor of the 16th arrondissement and as Secretary of State under Georges Pompidou. He worked to promote France’s cultural influence and to preserve Paris’s heritage. Very good condition; edges of the page are slightly damaged and yellowed.
