A radio journalist, Pierre Lhoste (1913–1984) asked the prominent figures he interviewed to provide an autograph accompanied by a drawing of a tree, thus creating a unique record of his interviews. INFORMATION: Frédérick Tristan, the pen name of François Collet, was a French writer and essayist. Winner of the 1983 Prix Goncourt for *Les Égarés*, he was also a teacher and lecturer. His work, at the intersection of mysticism, symbolism, and contemporary literature, explores spirituality and the human condition. He published more than 60 works, blending fiction, poetry, and metaphysical reflection.
